Was Hugh Grant in your screenplay?
Burly young country farmer? Rugger-bugger fund manager aged thirty? He wishes! Sulky/cool fifteen-year-old boybandalike? Not even when he was fifteen.

So...er...no.

In the late sixties and seventies, my friends and I coined OBPS, the Obligatory British Party Scene. Every British movie back then, esp B movies, had a party scene with "hippies" dancing to incredibly bland rock. It didn't matter what the rest of the movie was about; they all had the OBPS.
