How come there's no option for big fish on a boat deck?

Little fish in a big pond :) That way I'd have more room to swim around.

I'm surpised there wasn't an option for Orlando Bloom.

Or Christian Bale.

Or LOLcats.

A big fish is easier to fillet. Then after that it is an easy matter to coat them in egg and cover them with seasoned flour mixed liberally with corn meal. Then after the canola oil is hot enough to boil a troll you just toss those fillets in there and flip them and then you take themout and they are a golden crispy delight.

If you do it right you don't need tartar sauce.

But you always need cornbread.

It wasn't an alternative but I'd prefer to be the only fish in the pond. I like solitude!

Medium fish in a medium pond. Medium rare. And an iced tea. Thanks.

Big fish in little pond. Definitely. This is what I was in college and I enjoyed it. ;)

As far as critical acclaim for my writing goes, I'd love to be a big fish in a big pond, so that's how I answered. I can dream, can't I? :)

Small fish have to be released, big fish can be cooked, cleaned and eaten

Why does it have to be a fish?

Fish are smelly and have no arms or legs and have big eyes. Plus they live in water and can't drink beer.

Hmmmmmm... How about an eagle? Yeah, that's it - I'd rather be an eagle in a big sky.

Thank you.

I'm perfectly happy being a little fish in a big pond. Lots of room to stretch my fins without bumping into the rest of the fish. :D

I say little fish in a little pond. Why? Well I don't need fame or fortune, so no need to make a big name for myself, so no need to be a big fish.

I prefer the company of my family, my pets, and a few close friens. I don't travel, we stay at home and when we go out we never leave the small 3 town area in which we live. Everyone knows everyone.

The small pond is more peaceful and you know all the nooks and crannies; and the small fish can dart in and out of all of them too.

Of course I'd rather be an eel or a mermaid than a fish anyday.

If I was a fish, I'd be a fantail gold fish all bright colored and glittery.

I think most of us are migrators, not specifically anadramous like salmon, but repetitively so (not tied to a one-time reproductive strategy). Much of the time, we are a spec in a sea of humanity (ocean phase). But within our circle of family and friends, we are big fish (river phase). Occasionally, we can swim up that river outside of our immediate comfort circle, but we always head back to sea. Guess the eatin's better out there (or maybe we are less likely to be eaten).
