The early to mid '70s models with removable tops are what really interest me.

First, I'm assuming there are no back seats on the models up through the '80s.

Second, is the roof (the removable one) all in one piece, or could it be folded up and stored in the truck bed until needed?

It's one solid piece.

I believe it was made from fiberglass, or possibly a composite.

Texas. It's like a whole 'nother country.
Hey, JB.

I used to drive an '85 K5 Blazer. I never took the top off, but it looked like it would have been easy to do; maybe ten or twelve hex bolts to take the whole thing off. The top was fiberglass, and all one piece. Mine had a bench seat between the front seats and the rear cargo area.

I bought it in '93 and sold it in '94. Wouldn't be surprised if it's still out there somewhere...that truck was a brick. One of my favorite vehicles I ever owned, even though the AC didn't work.

Hope this helps.
