OK, someone please help me b4 I pull every strand of hair off my head. After nearly all night trying to get acquainted with my new screen writing software, I thought I had it. I'm on page 2 now and I have come to a brick wall.
I am using Movie Magic 2000. I have a character name and I want in parenthesis "to John" , then the dialogue. Example:
PETER
(to John)
What's up dude? Whatever, whatever....
I have the name and the parenthesis in which I typed "to John", BUT I cannot move out of the parenthesis. The software won't allow me to go to the next line. I tried the HELP section, but could find nothing.
Is there a way to correct this...or is there another way to write it. Thanks People..any advice would be appreciated.
