Hey all. Still a bit of a newbie... I think I've been here about a month now...

So, what exactly is a Grasshopper? Am I a Grasshopper? Do tell!

Ever watch the TV series Kung Fu with David Carradine? His character was a Shaolin (I think) monk in the old West. When he was a child learning at temple, he was called Grasshopper. The show had lots of flashbacks of his master's lessons.
