The fun thing about these threads is that:

1) They're recurring (this one was intentional, though)

2) They're full of small-minded fools.

3) They're also full of smart people.

4) It's easy to tell them apart.

It's funny. :D

(I have nothing productive to add: My thoughts on this subject were added in detail at least fifteen incarnations of this subject ago)

Actually, I think this is good for keeping us mindful, and I think it speaks to success as a species that we have time for such long sessions of belly-button inspection.

Everybody is special. Everybody has a rich internal life. We're all the axes of our own universes. And that isn't even the teeniest bit interesting. I need a reason that your specialness is worthy of forgetting my own for a few hours.

Honey, if you spent a few hours inspecting my belly button, you'd KNOW what makes me so special!

(disclaimer - I'm not sure what my post even means, it just seemed like the right thing to say. sometimes you have to go with your belly button.)

III has an outie. He is such a fan of things that are outie, he even drives one!

(it'll come to you)

(I used to have a sense of humor you could laugh with. I need to go to the doctor. *sob*)

For the record it's an innie that can hold up to 25 half-dollars. But I don't want to derail a legitimate thread with my bb. Sorry ... back on topic....

Without a doubt. I bet it's written in a book and is being made into a blockbuster movie at this very moment: The Rightness of Pee Dee.

That's a good question right now.
I'm multi-tasking in meatspace right now, but as soon as I have a few minutes to concentrate fully on this thread, some thread-splitting and post-moving will occur.

(Lori's just mad, because she doesn't know what a Soup Nazi is. So sad.)

How will she split the thread? She'll have to divvy (that looks weird) up the crap and the crap not, determine the innie from the outtie, the Pee Dee from the hee dee. Add to that, the Soup Nazi is in a category all his own.

Q: What is crap, and what is not?

A: Whatever the moderator says is, bub. That's what.

:)

I believe the Soup Nazi adds a valid point to the thread, darn it.

My innie goes deep. -shudder- Don't mess around with the belly button. It only looks unassuming.

The belly button could trump the Soup Nazi.

I was really enjoying that part, and I'll contribute soon enough.

Birol's off being a Human Being in the Real World, but she'll trim it soon enough, I imagine.

Birol's not looking? Does that mean I can post pictures of my navel here?
