All I have is a run down bookshelf that barely contains all my beloved books. Gah!

I was going to post which one was my favorite...but....but.....I can't.

Do you know the WRITING I would get done in one of those places?

Absolutely none. And I'd be so happy...

Heh, there's already a thread about these fabulous libraries over in the Round Table.

One day I will just tour libraries. That's going to be my vacation.

I've been to a few of those. They're amazing. I love museums and libraries. I walked from the Coliseum to the Vatican (I was out of money and I get in museums free! Yay wheelchair!), just to go to the museum. Wow. Beautiful. As far as libraries go, I really like the Austrian National one best... Maybe I'm biased because I lived in Vienna. :)

I think the one in Baltimore is where part of City of Angels was filmed. At least, it looks like it. Did you check out The Bone Sculpture, too?

The maddening thing: I think I've been in the one in Baltimore. My dad is from there. Unfortunately, I would have been too young to properly remember it. ARg!

Somehow the library a short walk from home just became somewhat less thrilling.

God, I love amazing architecture, art, and books.

Maryn, who enjoyed the bibliogasm

They sure are pretty. But something tells me they don't have CRAP in the way of "Choose Your Own Adventure" books, so pffft on them...

I live in Maryland and I've never been to the Library of Congress or to the one in Baltimore. What's wrong with me?

I've only been to two libraries, the one in my town (great library) and the one in the town next to mine (sucky library)
