After a long hiatus from seeing it in the theatre/movie house, I have recently watched it again on dvd.
Has anyone read the book that the film was based on?
A peek at comments on Amazon indicate quite a difference between the film and the book. Unlike many such attempts, the film apparently _added_ dimensions to the book, and many
reader-viewers had approved of the film's improvements on the book.
I was thinking of trying to obtain a copy of the book (I haven't read a book from cover to cover in such a long time). Has anyone here read DWW? I suspect the generation I am addressing this question to is my own.
[As an aside, the author Micheal Blake wrote a sequel--The Holy Road. Some on Amazon seemed to like it as much or more so than DWW. By chance, any here read both of Blake's books?].
