When I decided back in high school to really write my first big story, whenever I told someone this is what I've been up to, they are deeply impressed. With some of my coworkers even...and they ask me what I do in my free time...I tell them I write, and am trying to put my own book together. With the type of job I have, even some of the strangers want to know how I spend my time, and I have no problem telling them I want to have a book published one day.
They are very impressed, and it took me a while to wonder WHY everyone is so impressed and proud of me since I want to write a book. I understand now because writing book is not for wimps, or sissies....
Just thought I'd share.
