My biggest writing challenge ever. I just got a new book offer that I'm taking (a biography-- I'll tell you more once I sign the contract), but I have only 4 months to write the book. I've done that before, but not with a baby! I'm a little nervous. I'll get it done somehow, but I suspect I'm going to be a little insane by the end.

So my goal is to finish it one day early. And for it to be fabulous.

You guys and gals are awesome. Thanks for the votes of confidence!

The research is going to take a while; then I can figure out my daily word count quota. I don't know if this is true for everyone, but whenever I first get an assignment and I'm fired up, I just want to write it all in that first week. If I had the research done already, I'd gladly just stay up and write, write, write. It's harder when I'm halfway through and running out of mental steam.

Frazzled most likely but it will be such a joyous frazzlement! Your baby is old enough to be in a fairly established routine so it should be easy to write around that!

What wonderful news! Don't worry about taking care of Sarina while meeting a book deadline. You simply have two babies, now.

On a priority basis, the baby will win out, but the book will work out.
