Absolute Write just gained its 17,000th member!

A big welcome to XxSurreal_DreamerxX, and thank you to everyone here for making this a brilliant site to visit every day.

Wow, I highly underestimated the size of AW. It'd be interesting to know how many of those members are still active. There may be some magical (or relatively simple) way to find out, but since I can't even bring myself to go get a Dr. Pepper from the fridge...

Anyway, grats to AW on number 17,000. Heh.

You're very welcome.

When the member list is reactivated again you'll be able to see how many members are active. It's nowhere near 17,000 though. But it's about the quality of member, not the quantity, that makes AW special.

Especially Kevin.

No, it's not - it's the size that counts!

No, it's how you use it.

What about girth? Anyone have any girth estimations for AW? :D

The Member List is being redesigned with this information in mind.

Yup, girth's more important than...

No.

I just can't.

I dunno, but sitting in my chair writing all day promotes my own personal girth. Lately I'm hearing there's some connection to eating, as well. Who knew?

Maryn, wondering what number member she was

YOU can't? For shame!

I had a sudden attack of being ladylike.

Besides which, I don't want to get banninated for being rude. :D

Okay, okay. Girth is more important than length.

Satisfied?

(Um...so to speak...)

Wow, that is super great. AW is a second family to me. :e2grouphu

I will start the petition to get Judas banninated. I have no problem with that.

Man, virtually any topic in Office Party becomes sexual innuendo.

The tool thread just begged for it, but 17,000 members? How do you. . .

Oh, members. I get it now. Sorry, I'm sorta slow sometimes. Carry on.

I think we should start ritually sacrificing them

I call the knife!

You know... I didn't get it until you said that. I thought the innuendo began at the 'girth' point in the thread.

...And now I'm reading my words about all the members making this a brilliant site to visit every day in a completely different way. Oh... :e2smack:

Does the 17,000 members also include all the banned users/spammers and sock-puppets that occasionally show up in Bewares & Background Check?

We're like a small village, actually 17,000 is probably a large village, where everyone knows everyone.

I'd ask who our village idiot is, but I'm afraid of the answer.

I really don't like the undercurrents of that question myself.

Did someone mention me?

Hey! That's just not right. Ya'll set me up.

Wow well apparently I live in a village, 14,000 people.

I mean yes we build our huts out of sticks and mud with leaves as the roof and yes the chickens are our pillows but come on!! it's a bustling metropolis!
