My 1st paid writing gig!

Hi

I just got an email from the seal lady.

I have been comissioned to write a 20 min DVD on "Grey Seals".
This is my 1st paid writing gig and I get a writing credit as well!!

She did say I was a little American in my style??? WHAT does that mean? Should I take it as a compliment or as an insult since I'm a Brit. No offence to you Americans but I am a Brit!!
