How many threads have you started?

I realized the other day that I hadn't started any threads recently -- since March actually -- so I thought I'd float this one out there for another early demise.

This is my 47th thread.

I've only started 5 (including this one) in 2007.
I started 21 in 2006
and 21 in 2005.

(I guess I need to start 16 more this year to keep up the "21" trend).

The thread most visited: "What makes for a great fantasy" (2,728 views)

The thread most posted: "PC Language & Disrespectful Words" (141 responses)

I've killed 12 of my own threads.

A large number of my earlier threads were kindly asked not to be duplicated (Love Battles - LOL...Jenna was the ultimate queen).

All in all, not impressive stats...but that's okay.

So....what's your thread stats?

I may not have started many threads but I was the inspiration for a popular thread..."Royalty for a Week". Over 10,000 posts, over 101,000 replies--all because of my cancelled Love Battles. Jenna started it after the Battles ended. <sigh>

A few of you commented about the numbers - either surprised by the low or high amount of threads you've started. Honestly, I was surprised too by my number. I knew I hadn't started any in a while, but I didn't realize it had been 5 months since my last one and that in the last 2 1/2 years, I'd only started 47.

I should quit wasting time and get back to writing. The kids are asleep and I'm still awake (mostly) so I really, really, really should be writing....
