I've only seen one signature that drives me nuts on AW. It has everything, shameless plugging, sentimental gushing, girth, length, girly colours and worse punctuation than even I can manage. But I'm not telling, no way, no snitching going on here. I'm sure it brings them a whole lot of satisfaction and it would be churlish to grumble but ....

I have to admit to being fond of the links laden signatures. Links are good. I am a linkless wonder, incapable of sharing my innermost/outermost anything, so it helps me to feel involved.

Dear Polly Pissy Pants,

You do realize you have the option to turn signatures off so you never have to see them, right??

I think you can turn off people's sig lines, if you want. Check in your User Control Panel.

Then you won't have to look at them. Or put that person on "ignore."

Some can be distracting, truly, for me. I suppose it's a matter of personal taste. Hey, if I can tune out the sounds of my kids' toys, I can surely mentally tune out a sig line that's too loud, as well. I'm just glad sig lines don't have music that automatically plays, as well!

But then you'd miss out on the really cool signatures.
Like Mine.

Hey I'm not the one having a big whinge about sigs. I'm not thrilled when folks have a huge picture in their sig, but I love the quotes and stuff.

I have nothing useful to say, I just want people to see my sig line.
