Happy B-day

I'm now 45, and our house currently (!) has no electricity at all, which is why I've not been around sooner to respond. We live off-grid, and have a wind turbine and diesel generator for our electricity: only our gen-set has given up the ghost and the wind has not blown here for days (first time since we moved here, ten years ago).

I'll be back soon (storms are forecast for Tuesday), but meanwhile, thank you, everyone, for your very kind words. I'm such an irregular poster that I am astounded and rather touched that so many of you have wished me well. I'll bring cookies next time I come, and a nice stiff gin for MacAllister.
