Yep. I'm a four. My variant is "self-pres" which I take to mean "self-preservation?" Given the circumstances in which I grew up, I'd say that would be pretty accurate, as well.

The enneagram is a useful tool, but the "tests" devised aren't always accurate, and there are different schools of thought about the particular personality types anyway.

Yeah, that's me. Motivated. I don't think that I rely on people that much, though. I like to take care of people and be in charge (because I know best and am always right, of course).

Pretty darn accurate.

I'm type 8 (aggressive) 90%, followed by type 5 (detached) 82%, self-preservation seems to be my variant.
