View Full Version : Response Time vs Computer Glitch

I have a full out with an agent, waiting (anxiously) for a response.

I haven't been waiting all that long for the pub world, about 7 weeks. However, my logic board fried itself a little more than a week ago, and it now appears that some emails were lost in cyberspace during that time.

Others seem to have heard back from this agent within a fairly brief time span, and I'm wondering if her response could have been sent and lost.

Should I send her an email? What would I say?

Thanks in advance for any insights/opinions. :)

I would just drop her an Email. Things happen. Agents know this. And if I were her, eagerly awaiting your full, I'd want to know what happened! :) Good luck.

Thanks Word Gypsy.:) I think she got the full, I'm wondering if I didn't get her reply.

In any case, I think I'll work on an email.

Anyone else?

Definitely follow up (politely, via e-mail) after a month. I've had situations where there was a glitch and I didn't receive someone's work, and the poor person had been anxiously waiting more than a month for a response when I didn't even have the manuscript!

Thank you for the insight, Mr. Bransford. :)
