True stuff – I used to act but turned to writing after feeling I might have more to offer there. I should’ve known you did both too but just now saw your website (sorry I’m a little slow) because you posted this – way to go :)

The reason why I sucked in my acting career was that I did treat each auditions as "success and failure" based on whether I got the part or not. My auditions are far and between because most often "I'm not right for the part" but I'm missing out on the process. A friend of mine insisted on his agent sending him to EVERY audition. He's not famous but he is getting a good number of jobs.

With writing, it seems like I'm more in tune with the process -- you write, you improve, you keep sending things out until no one want it, you keep doing it.... So the article just seems to shine a light on me.
