I had an editor for an on-going work-for-hire assignment want to see my freelancing resume. I used to have one, but it disappeared somewhen, so I had to recreate it.
In doing so, in listing different publishing credits and contracted assignments, an overall picture of my writing career began to form. More than anything else, at this point in time, I'm a writer of non-fiction articles and a contractor for special projects, including research and editing.
I'm going to challenge those of you who don't have a list of your publishing credits and assignments in one place to make one. Divide them up by broad categories and see if there is an overall pattern to where you've had the most success. Is the reality different from how you see yourself as a writer?
