Why is nothing happening?

Some days these boards are all a-clatter with activity. And some days I swear I can hear crickets.

Is there some system I could use to reliably forecast which days will be dull? Some sort of chaos equation or something?

I need this place for entertainment. I'm at work, for godssake! What else am I supposed to do?

This is a really good observation as, I've just said 'switch the plug on' out loud and somehow, I couldn't quite picture it lol. I just spilled the words without thought, hoping they would make sense.

Um. No.

As for 'switching the plug on'... I've got a plug in my living room that's got an 'on/off' switch, like a light fixture. If we don't switch the plug on, there's no power for lamp light or TV.
