That you are getting people to even look is a good sign. :)

Saying that...if they are not buying it makes me wonder a few things.

1.) Is your site easy to work with? Is it easy to navigate?
2.) Do you provide sample chapters? If so, are they catchy enough?
3.) Are there other sources to buy your book at? If so, do you have them linked to your site?
4.) Are you marketing / promoting to the right demographic?
5.) Have you placed the book for consignment in any Indies?
6.) Finally, how do you plan on overcoming the POD stigma?

and maybe #7 would be: Is your book competitively priced? What other books are out there that are similar to yours, that your target audience would be buying, and is the price tag for your book in the same range as these other books?

I think I see your problem:

501 Things To Do While "On Hold"
by Kevin Hill; Translated by Cherry Yang 68 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); English/Chinese; catalogue #06-2618; ISBN 1-4251-0860-1; US$13.75, C$15.81, EUR11.29, 7.91

Nearly $14 (plus postage) for a 68-page booklet or pamphlet is rather steep. Not to mention that with so many "things to do" on so few pages, each "thing" gets only a line or two--in English and in Chinese. Not promising. The sample content is scarcely compelling, and judging from the sample, much of the content really has zero relevance to being on hold. (Horse riding??!!!!)

You might have an idea for an article or for some fillers--not a book.

I've not looked at the other, but suspect a similar set of problems.

Sorry. I just call em' as I see em'.

Thanks for you Q's and you honest comments. 501 to do on Hold contains practical, fun and down right stupid suggestions.

I did look into publishing before but i guess i didn't do enough research.

I will keep trying.
