What are the scenes that have been copied, mimiced or spoofed the most.

The couple i can think of are:

* The opening scene with Trinity suspended in the air, in the matrix.

* The "I'm flying Jack" scene from the Taianic.

Any others spring to mind?

Kev.

The Bruce Williis "yippee-ki-yay" line from Die Hard.

The "I'll be back" line from Terminator.

The ending to Casablanca when Rich gives his little "hill of beans" speech.

These are good but i was thinking more of actual scenes rather than lines. WHat is the 3rd one I don't know that? What is the "Hill of Beans" speech

The scene kinda goes with the line. For example, there's a chicken strip commercial on now where a character steals his chicken back from someone who stole it and then says the line (in his best Bruce Willis voice), "Yippe-ki-kay".

The end of Casablanca is when Rick says goodbye to the Ingrid Bergman character right before she gets on the airplane, then he walks off with the French policeman, and then another memorable line: "This could be the start of a beautiful friendship."

You guys are clearly forgetting the "The Right Stuff" scene with the astronauts spread seven-wide, walking tall.

giant roiling fireballs riding up the asses of stalwart heroes and heroins just before they dive to safety through a window or some damned thing.

worked best the first time, when it was a giant boulder chasing Indiana Jones

sticking your hand in and pulling out a beating heart... (seriously, I don't know if Temple of Doom was the first to do that -- probably not, but that's the one I remember)

The upside-down kissing scene in Spiderman.

Kirk yelling "Khann!!" in Wrath of Khan. (I suppose that's just a line though. . . )

Scenes from 2001: A Space Odyssey: the monolith, the lightshow fly-through, the starchild at the end.

Rosebud -- Citizen Kane

Shaky cam shots -- I don't exactly know who started it, but I think it's MTV, and all of a sudden it's a rage.
