Gunshot wounds

Has anybody here ever been shot? I'm curious to know what the experience feels like from the point of view of the victim. Thanks for any help.

But he had some extreme injuries, and I was looking for something at the lower end of the scale. So, still looking for any horror stories you guys might have.
