View Full Version : Sudden Fiction Contest

I've posted this question in several places; maybe someone here has the answer.

The Southeast Review has an annual flash fiction contest. The 2007 results were supposed to posted in Spring/Summer. Has anyone heard anything? I've emailed the editor but haven't received a response.

Maybe I misunderstood--were the results to be posted Spring/Summer 2008?

Here is the link to the list of winners. THey were announced in early June and posted on the main page of the South East Review

I saw that, too. I also read the blog. Those appear to be the winners of last year's contest. If you scroll down, you'll see the posts going backward in time. Additionally, all who entered were to receive the print issue in which the 2007 winners appeared--that hasn't gone out yet.

Whoops, my mistake. It's been a long day at work. THey did say that they extended the contest till May. So I would think that the results will be delayed as well. I would be patient. I'm sure they'll notify or have notified the winners already and won't notify anyone by the appearance of their name in the magazine. It could just be that they havent decided anything yet. I imagine they've got a lot to read through. Good luck, by the way. I assume you entered?
