Would someone please tell me what "Drabble" is?

Also, regarding flash for Women's Weekly, I could not find submission guidelines on their website. Am I overlooking something?

Thanks!

A drabble is a 100 word story.

The Women's Weekly website doesnt have much on it.

The following is from this website:-

Woman's Weekly is looking for warm, realistic short stories in two length categories: 2,000 words and 1,000 words. Serials are also required of between 2 and 6 instalments of around 4,000 words per instalment. Submit to: Gaynor Davies, Woman's Weekly, IPC Connect Ltd, King's Reach Tower, Stamford Street, London, SE1 9LS. Write for the latest Woman's Weekly Writers' Guidelines, enclosing a sae.

Drabble

Whoever came up with the terms "dribble" and "drabble" was wasting time. There are already specific, and proper, terms for fiction of this length.
