It's a book!

Today, in my mailbox, was the final .pdf file of my new book, ready for me to give a gander. For the first time, it looks like a real book.

Yay! The e-book will be uploaded to the publisher's site soon, and to Fictionwise, and then they'll be taking print pre-orders. The official print release date is July 28, right around the end of my Virtual Book Tour.

I had felt kind of ambiguous about this book for a while - I was more excited about my Samhain book next year. But now that I've seen it all together, there's that feeling of excitement that only comes when you see something you've written in real book form.

It's a book!
As soon as it's all available I'll run on up to the AW library and put the information in.

Whew, tell me about it. This one in July, then another in February (tenatively). That one will be e-book only until later in 2008, then print, so I've got a little breathing room.

I'm tired just thinking about it.
