Aww man, crappy news today...

I just got word that a dear friend of mine was shot and killed outside his apartment in Genesee, Idaho at 3:40 AM.
His family was from Belfast but he grew up in the states.
He had a wee daughter and a sad past...He was finally crawling out of a hole and making something out of his young life.
There is a suspect in custody.

My heart is in pieces.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.
I'm still in shock.
I don't know who will take care of the funeral arrangements...he is estranged from the mother of his child and the executor of his estate has manipulated control of all of the money his mum left him when she died of cancer. He was fighting for control and an accounting and hopefully she won't keep at him after his death and the child will be taken care of.

His life was fairly tragic. This is all so horrible...

I'm off to cry some more. Be safe everyone - you never know when something horrible can happen. Hug your loved ones daily.
