My Idea

You know what they say. Write what you know. (I hate people who say that.)

But if you're stuck on diabetes, I know a ton and I'd be glad to help out.

There aren't too many teenagers with epilepsy, are there? Isn't it usually a childhood thing, and it fades away? My boyfriend used to have it, I know, but stopped taking medication years ago...

Sucks.

Can I suggest writing down all of the ideas you have? Brainstorm for your story. It sounds like you have a few different alternatives on this piece of the story as well as others (from the threads I've seen you post about it lately) Take both avenues with brief outlines for each and see which one will work most effectively. One of them will look and feel right for you.
So then you write that story.

So write them out in notes - start writing the book - see what works best.

You can do this. This pre-writing fretting isn't getting words on paper. Find your story and go go go!
