Overnight Acceptance

I know this is rare, even with e-mail queries/submissions, but be that as it may....

I've got some news.

Last night, I submitted several poems to magazines -- online and print. One of them, TheVerseMarauder.com, replied already. I got it in my inbox this morning.

They want "Childless!" It'll be in the July 15 issue.

I agree, if only they all came that quickly. lol.

My "celebration" was cutting off noise from the city workers mowing across the street. I think I got the sound blocked around the same time they finished that lot.

I really shouldn't be up right now. Backache from Hades. Ugh.

I'd like to learn how to get work consistently accepted that quickly as well. Especially work that pays.

Thanks, everybody. I think I'm going to go cuddle up with my heating pad again. I think this is a day to be written off as not getting much of anything done.
