Sssh. Don't let her hear you say the O- word. She's a bit vain.

(She's a 1953 Chevy, refurbished--A/C, and good sound system, but manual transmission and no power steering. I think I'll let him drive...)

They don't make 'em like they used to. ;) Hey, OFG, have you ever driven one of these? It has a 'starter' pedal thing, in addition to clutch.

I think I'm too ADD to drive this car. I don't multi-task well.

Under your couch
I see he still loves blondes. She's a beaut, but I bet she can't write poetry.

I love old cars! If I ever get rich, I'm going to collect and refurbish them. We have a 1950's Chevy Skyline in our barn that no one ever uses, because everyone is too lazy to fix it. Dad says I can have it if I fix it up. But, my brother who is 8 years older then I and in the military says "Hey, Dad said I could have it!" I've never seen him drive it even, and it's been sitting there for about 5 years. Lazy bones.

My husband's best friend (our neighbor) also has an older 50's Chevy sitting in his garage. He knows alot about working on them, which will come in handy, as this gal still needs some work. (He closed the door this morning and the window-crank handle fell off.)

It's not the outside that counts, but what is underneath the hood skin.

It's an original inline 6, 235 c.i., "stovebolt" Chevy engine: 3 on the tree; original tranny. ;)

(Don't ask me to repeat that.)

*whistles*

That's a nice truck.

I'm a roadster girl myself. Or an old Corvette with the top down...

Now see, I'd love a convertible. After 19 years of driving minivans, I'm ready for something fun and little.
