Hi Everyone, happy Memorial Day. There is a video on YouTube that says what this holiday is about. It was done by a 15 year old girl. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Lizzie Palmer who put this YouTube program together is 15 years old. There
have been over 3,000,000 hits as of this morning.

As for me, I'm marching in a Memorial Day parade, tomorrow. I'm w/ EMS, as a lot of you know. And I swear, if anyone has a friggin' anti-war sign, I may just break ranks, even though I'm gonna be holding one side of the EMS banner...we'll be marching behind the Police of our town, should be interesting...if I'm not around for a few days, you'll know why

I've seen that one... very moving. And a good reminder to those of us who've forgotten the real reason for Memorial Day isn't picnics, the opening of the pool, and the running of the Indianapolis 500.

In memory of all the men and women who lost their lives fighting for our Country, and to those who survived to carry on the memory of the fight.
Thanks to all those in the Armed Forces, you are not forgotten and I think of you with the utmost respect.

A special thanks to John J. Maluska, who fought in WWII but lost his battle to Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on May 24, 2005.
