Hi, I'm trying to find out more about Jacqueline Hackett at Watkins Loomis. She's an AAR member, which means she abides by ethical standards and has verifiable sales to her credit. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge?

No first-hand knowledge, sorry. Here's her AgentQuery (http://www.agentquery.com/agent.aspx?agentid=829) page.

Their webpage said they do not accept unsolicited submissions.

All that means is "query first".

Does anyone have any new information about her? She's on a list a friend gave me, but I can't find a whole lot about her besides what's in this thread. It sounds like maybe she's new? Anyone know anything else? Thank you!

Jackson

Does anyone know anything about Literary Works in New York? I got a request for my book proposal from a Ms. Hackett after she read my query.
Being a new author I want to align myself with someone who can help me and avoid getting caught in a scam. Any info?

Here's (http://www.publishersmarketplace.com/members/JHackett/) her Publisher's Marketplace page.

I found this deal from the Confessions of an Idiosyncratic Mind blog:

Editors Christopher Chambers and Gary Phillips's DARKER MASK, an illustrated anthology of superhero and fantasy short stories, featuring stories by L.A. Banks, Steven Barnes, Reed Farrel Coleman, Eric Jerome Dickey, Tananarive Due, Michael Gonzales, Gar A. Haywood, and Walter Mosley, to Eric Raab at Tor, for publication in January 2008, by Jacqueline Hackett at the Watkins Loomis (NA).

Last, but not least, this is from Preditors and Editors:

Jacqueline Hackett: $ A literary agent with Literary Works.

On the website under submissions it says they are only accepting nonfiction submissions at this time.

Website and PM page are gone, but AQ page remains. Anyone hear from her recently?
