Has there been a thread about this before?

I would vote for "Police Story."

Hmm, I can't recall the theme to Police Story off the top of my head.

The theme music from Mod Squad can get stuck in my head with no problem.
And I do sing along to the theme for Scrubs :)

Frankenstein ! I used to love that back in the day. Have you heard it lately? Gives me a headache now.

Yes, I have and I still love it. Sorry to hear it gives you a headache.

Here's another old one: The Man From Uncle! OR Pallidon?

I loved the Rockford Files theme music!

Geez, forgot that one. "Barnaby Jones" would've been good if not for the "A Quin-Martin production. Starring Buddy Ebson...."

My sister YouTubed the theme from 'Welcome back Kotter' the other day, and my eyes welled up.

Oh, the shame. I wouldn't mind, but I barely remember anything about the wretched series, just the music.

For me, hands down it has to be Newhart.

It's such a pretty tune that perfectly captures the setting of the show.

I agree so much. I used to LOVE Newhart. (Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Darryl . . . .) And I have always loved the theme music. But I noticed the wav you linked to was the "shortened" version. I recall from the original run it had a short bridge that was cut for syndication. I'd love to hear the full version with bridge.

Also, WKRP in Cincinnati. How many here can sing along?

The Munsters had two good themes.

MASH. Plus, I loved the movie's version with lyrics.

Amazing Stories.

Star Trek (TOS).

The Jeffersons.

Lost. (kind of a joke)

And I think Murder She Wrote had a neat theme.

Cheering you all on!
I started to make a list, but realized it was going to be really really long. So I'll come up with some really good themes that nobody will prolly think of but me ;) Yes, I'm a dork

Earth Final Conflict
SeaQuest
Due South
Wonderfalls (makes me happy everytime)

And people have mentioned other Star Trek themes, but I liked DS9 the best.

And the theme my sis & I will never forget:
Saved By the Bell

Serenity

Baby, if you've ever wondered,
Wondered what ever became of me.
I'm living on the air in Cincinnati,
Cincinnati WKRP.

I adored this show when I was younger. :D My favorite ep is still the Thanksgiving one where Les thought that Turkey's could fly.
