Oasis' Don't Look Back In Anger was just played on the radio. The DJ described it as 'an oldie.'

An oldie? I was 18 when that song came out. 1996 doesn't qualify as an oldie, does it?

Yep, it's over 10 years old. Pearl jam was insanely popular during my high school days. They are now played on classic rock stations. That hurts.

In the toidy.
Just you wait until you're wandering around an "antique" store, glancing at furniture built in the 1800's, then you turn a corner and find a room that looks very much like the family room of the house you grew up in !

Welcome to life. It's all downhill from here. Next stop, just a few feet under ground.

A friend of mine once asked my grandma where she was when lincoln was shot.

My four year old asked me something the other day equally as insulting but i cant remember what it was (selective memory to avoid personal emotional trauma). A child's or young person's perception of time is what makes us old I think :/

My son often says, "I'm 4" as he holds up the fingers to show me. "Jack's two." he nudges Jack to hold up his fingers to show me, "and you're just old, mom."

*sigh* thanks, Kid.

On my 25th birthday, my mom told me HB...my reply was, "I can't believe I'm a quarter of a century old!" SHE HIT ME ON THE ARM! That was 31 years ago!

I'm particularly fond of the question: 'What was in like in the olden days?'

Does any one remember the Hamms Beer ad?
From the land of sky blue waters...and the animated bears?

I just dated myself...again!

I remember them as a kid. In fact, the Post (that's VFW to most folks) in my home town still has the scrolling beer light of the river for Hamm's beer. :)
