Has anyone else heard from Mytholog?

I sent them a story (You don't belong here -- I posted it here for the drabble challenge) back on April 1st. Their web site says that they will "usually get back to you within 45 days, oftentimes sooner." I have yet to hear from them, so I don't know if that means I need to wait longer or if I should send a query to ask what happened.

I did get a response that my submission was received, about a week after I sent it, but did not get an acceptance or rejection yet.

Anyone else had experience with them? Unfortunately, their guidelines don't say when or if I should query to find out what happened. . .

Nope, still waiting. But that's probably a good sign. On Duotrope, they reckon acceptances from Mytholog take an average of 65 days. Rejections are much quicker.

I recieved a late reply to an older question I had. And the Editor said that they are currently plowing through all the submittals and will be responding soon.

Fingers crossed for all those still waiting to hear from Mytholog.

Just out of curiosity, who would like to see our own list of all the mags we submit to and their response times for rejections and acceptances?

I think that is a great idea, Jed.

Also, I am still waiting to hear from Mytholog. They took quite sometime in letting me know they had my drabble so I am being patient.

It took them awhile but they do answer. I am surprised that I have no feelings about it. I don't think I was expecting them to accept. Not because I thought what I wrote was poor or that I am a bad writer--I just wasn't thinking they would.

So on to the next submission. It was easier than I thought.
