Words that are often spelled incorrectly

Here's a little quiz to see how well you can spell words that usually misspelled. I only missed 2

I know how "definite" is spelled, so I don't know why I'm always compelled to spell it "definate".

Most of the words I spell incorrectly are consistant as well. My sister, on the other hand, could be writing a paper and misspell the same word three different ways.

I think it's because the spellings are pretty close and when comparing the two, it's hard to see which one is spelled correctly, even if you know the word. If it were asking to pick out the misspelled word in a sentence, I'm sure it'd be much easier.

I just made my dad take the test. He missed everything except for five words.

I always misspell porcelain and bureaucracy. They're so weird....
