Hi. My name is Lori, and *big deep breath* I am hopelessly addicted to Battle Phlinx on Pogo. *sigh* *waits for chorus of "Hi, Lori..."*

I'm never going to get any writing done unless I lose my internet connection. Must...not....play....Battle Phlinx...

As a recovering Doom and Quake addict, I dare not go there. Hi, Lori!

Hi, Ol' Fashioned Girl!

Considering that Battle Phlinx is nowhere near as consuming as Quake and Doom, and yet I'm completely hooked...you would think my friends would understand why I REFUSE to get involved in World of Warcraft. I'd never again see the light of day!!!

And this is probably just a phase before I get hooked AGAIN on Age of Empires II...

Actually, I was smiling at OFG's *cougholdcough* statement. JC got her post in before mine.

Pong, eh? I remember when Woolworth's got the first one in Carlisle. You couldn't even get near the thing.

*sigh* Yeah, I'm old, too. :)

Bunch of old farts playing video games on the internet. How do you manage the joy stick holding that cane?

Meanwhile, Spooky anxiously awaits his Easy-Bake Oven refill packs...
 In Arizona you can actually bake a cake with those things if you do it outside around noon. Not that I ever did such a thing, mind you.

Ms Pac-Man was my addiction. I probably sunk enough quarters into the machine in the commuter lounge at college to pay for a good part of my tuition.

However, the first job I got out of college was quality-testing ceramic computer boards with a machine that used - a joystick. Everyone was dumbfounded at how quickly I learned to operate the thing...

Cane or no cane, honey, I'd've fragged your a$$ in a heartbeat.

Repeatedly. :D
Wanna play jacks instead?

*hisses at the word Pogo* My mother sat on her large rear for three years, playing that game for 16+ hours straight every day after going from a $20 an hour job to a life of sloth. Me no likey thread....

Sorry about that. My bad.

I remember pong - does that make me really old?
