Waking up with a bunch of ants isn't nearly as rewarding as waking up with 20 of your closest woodspider friends in your bed (they even bring coffee with them sometimes! So cute!).

I hate ants, they creep me out sometimes worse then spiders.

Actually, for me spring means that my windowsill is covered in a thick layer of bird poop.

One time some years ago, my father was trying to listen to some sort of electronic readout (I think on a voltmeter) so he asked everyone to be quiet for a couple minutes. About thirty seconds later, a flock of about twenty or so baby titmice descended upon the feeder, yeeping to be fed...

He thought it was pretty funny.

The palmettobugs are starting their annual raid. They come in via various methods, scare the peewadden outa folks, then with their goal accomplished, they crawl onto the kitchen or bathroom floor and die.
