Seeing there's a thread for popular films you don't like...i've decided to start one with horror films you do like.

I love all the SAW movies--especially SAW III--yeah the bloodier, the better I say..

Any Friday the 13th, except parts VI-X---

Halloween I-III; Halloween 4 was decent, Halloween 5 was abysmal... Curse of Michael Myers was a joke... H2O was an improvement with actors I actually knew Halloween Ressurection was a bit better..

Hellraiser I & II---

You get the idea... I'm not into the psychological stuff or vampires... Don't do anything for me.

The Descent: Creepy and scary
Dog Soldiers: Great werewolf movie
The Exorcist: I saw it way too young
The Omen: I & III, II was awful

I tend to like horror films that use common tropes but turn them on their ear.

The Descent.
The Others.
The Blair Witch Project
. (Shoot me.)

Scariest movie I've ever seen?

Rear Window.

Blair Witch is a pretty decent movie considering it was shot entirely by film students.. Blair Witch: Book of Shadows was decent...

Rear Window--definitely a Hitchcock classic..

Let's not forget Psycho--Anthony Perkins couldn't have done it better.

I'm such a wimp. I can't deal with gore. American Psycho still haunts me to this day. The ones I like:

Blair Witch

Alien

The Others

The unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of
As some of you may know, this could take a while.
In no particular order:

The Descent
Dog Soldiers
Shaun of the Dead
Severance
Night/Dawn/Day/Land of the dead (The originals)
Evil Dead 1 & 2
28 Days Later
Jaws
Aliens 1-3
The Fog (Carpenter Original)
The Thing
American Werewolf in london (Jenny Agutter=Mmm)

I think that'll do for now.
