I'm trying to get through the "New Posts" since yesterday. Since I only read AW during the day, I always click new posts to see what's been posted, there's too much. I can't get through them.

So give me the reader's digest version.

And the "Post the first three sentences of your WIP" thread in Writing Novels has some great stuff. So many talented AWers!

I'm rather stuck in the Royalty thread. King Tsuki and Lori the Enforcer are making me write that I won't eat parakeets 1000 times in blood, with my toes. Are you A-positive, Trish? Can I get a transfusion?

I use a lot of semi-colons. I think I might have to count them while I do my second draft.

I saw the "first three sentences" thing, but I haven't added mine yet. Mostly because if I post them I will read through them and find something wrong with each of them. I'd rather just wait until it's out of FDU (first draft ugly) before I show it to anyone.

I checked my semi-colon rate. My WIP is averaging one every 1450 words. Someone was dissing on semi-colons in the Post The First Three Sentence of your WIP thread, so I'm feeling cocky about them.

I think they rock.
