Your challenge is to make up license plates (six to eight characters, including spaces) that reflect an occupation.

Saw these examples on the subway today:

Example with answer:

BOTMLN (accountant)

Other examples:

TOOFDR

DOC4JOX

MOVN FR8

Don't give the answer(s) in your post until folks have had a chance to guess. You can post guesses in the thread, too.

Okay, this one's easy, but

ABC 123

I'll try to come up with a more unique one later, because it sounds fun. As for yours,

Hmmm. I don't know.

http://pages.prodigy.net/indianahawkeye/newpage18/18.gif Okay, I give up. I don't get half of these. I'm not even sure how Yesh's first one translates to 'accountant'.

BOTMLN = Bottom Line = Accountant

Another hint: The one of Carol's that got me laughing is my very own personal license plate. :grin

Shall we give it another day or so and post answers?

Ruth, yours is Pigeon Pie for You, right?

I wrote a humor piece about vanity plates and collect funny ones, even now. Here's my favorite, on a brand new red pick-up truck driven by a cute teenaged boy: IMBORED. I wanted to pull him over, drag him out of the truck, smack him, and take it for myself. And my DD#1's boyfriend's Jeep used to have BGTHRST on it (Big Thirst), because of all the gas it guzzled.

I used to have a vanity plate -- it's very embarrassing to mention it now, but back then I thought it was really cool... sort of the "chicks dig it" type thing. The funniest thing is, when I gave my car to my Dad, the plate went with it. And it was really funny to see my Dad driving his car with that plate... He either had no clue or he didn't care. But it sure was funny.

(No, I won't tell you what the plate said)
