Logically, I think it will.
The more folk post here just to say happy birthday, the bigger your ego will grow. It's only natural to feel good about all these people stopping in to say nice things.
But that means that however big the thread grows, your ego will keep pace.
So we can never make it bigger. How about 'as big'?
