So I just got up to 50,000 words on my sci fi romance wip. I know it is small potatoes for most of you out there but this is my first real project and I am now half done word count wise.
Now for the important part, am I half done with the story? Yes, I think so. I am aiming to have a 100,000 word finished ms give or take and I am pretty much on track with that.
I didn't outline (hate, hate outlines) but I have the rest of the novel stuck firmly in my head and am just trying to get it all out.
