I got a nice, handwritten rejection from Woman's World for a short story.

And since I wrote it specifically for them, I have no clue who else might want it. It's sugar-sweet, short, and simply written. Ideas? Anyone?

I'm sorry to hear about your rejection, Siddow. I hope you find another market for your story.

I'm kinda clueless on the magazine market, but... does it fit under the "inspirational" umbrella? If it's under 1500 words, you could try Guideposts. Sweet is one of their middle names.

A handwritten rejection from Woman's World? Hey, you rate. I've been submitting for years and all I get is that form.

hehe...it was scrawled on the form, and made me smile, even though it didn't say Please try us again.

But I will anyway. :D

I got a reject from Woman's World at the end of last year. It was a form but then it had a personal note scrawled at the bottom telling me to keep on writing and going for my dreams etc and it even said happy holidays and had a signature! anyways, better luck next time and maybe you can try First For Women or Woman's Day magazines

Wow, another one with a personal message! Okay, so they're not so rare, except for me. (Crawls off into a corner and hides head.)

Try duotrope.com or the Suddenly Fiction forum here for some ideas about alternative markets. Good luck!

You're being punished for your location. Move into my apartment and I will move into your place and your blessings will not be able to be contained.

Boogers. Sorry about that rejection. But a hand-written note suggestion you submit to them again? Hot ziggity damn. That's good.
