Stageplays in Final Draft 7

I've used FD7 for screenplays and TV, but now need to take a stab at a stageplay.

What is the difference between the three choices in the new script menu (stageplay 1, stageplay 2, stageplay 3)?

I appreciate any help you can give me! :)

Gee, I am surprised that no one answered this for you. Sorry to come here so late.

Despite whatever you might hear or read, in stageplays there is really no standard as in screenplays.

"Stageplay 1" is the best of the three templates in that it represents one of the most commonly used formats. Another variation (maybe just as common) is to indent the Action lines just like Parentheticals. Action lines are usually put into parentheses, regardless of where they are placed.

Parentheticals, which come within Dialogue, are just as they are in screenplays (no blank line above or below). Action parentheticals, however, have a blank line above and below.
