Someone mentioned the movie Keeping The Faith and now I have Jessie's Girl stuck in my head. I hate that freaking song! The top 3 songs that get stuck in my head and drive me nuts are:

3) The theme song from Love American Style
2) Love Shack
1) The theme song from Silver Spoons

20, 30 years ... it doesn't matter. Some demons never let you go.

Dude, I'm being totally seriously. I originally had the theme from Love Boat as my #4.

LOL!

Every time I hear the Love Boat song, I imagine it's being sung by Bill Murray as the lounge singer guy on Saturday Night Live. It helps. :)

"Do They Know It's Christmas". Several key parts. Often at the same time.

Don't hate me, but that song in your head is about to be replaced with . . .

the Macarena!

Video Killed The Radio Star...usually just the chorus buzzing around over and over

But the worst was back when I waited tables. I dunno why or where it came from, but for three days straight I got weird looks from my customers as I walked by. Why? They overheard me singing "Kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit, kill da waaaabbit" under my breath. I couldn't shake that song for three days.

And yes...since then I've laid off the hooch. Kinda...

"Come in to my shop ... let me cut your mop...."
"There ain't no place like a hole in the ground...."
"Twirl twirl, twist and twirl ... jump around like a flyin' squirrel...."
"Oh, carrots are divine, you get a dozen for a dime, it's maaaaagic."

Love Bugs Bunny songs. :)

My most frequently earwormed song for about a year is "I Wanna Be Like You" from the original Jungle Book. The other one recently that I realized I was singing before I knew it is "Pico and Sepulvada." I don't remember who did it, but it was on the Dr. Demento Show. It's the La Brea Tarpits song.

My friend kept singing that one song, "Cupid's Chokehold" by "Gym Class Heroes" and now it's stuck in my head!

"Take a look at my girlfreind...
She's the only one I got.."

Hey! I'm not old! I actually know that one!(used up all three exclamation points, now can't put any in my novel :().

But what about when one song rips off another song, then you get the self-imposed mashup stuck in your head...
