Here’s a neat resource I discovered yesterday, and it’s free. Using Charteous, you can keep track of the sales ranking of any book at Amazon without having to look at it every day. Input a ten digit ISBIN number, and it produces a nice chart of historical data from that day forward.

Title Z (http://www.titlez.com) is another cool Amazon tracker. I used it pretty frequently to track clients' books last year.

One I haven't tried yet is Sales Rank Express - http://www.salesrankexpress.com/, though it looks pretty cool. It includes a widget that you can install on your blog or website to show your Amazon Sales Rank (as well as # of reviews, etc.) in real time.

Yep, Aaron Shepard's Sales Rank Express is considered to be the widget for tracking Amazon sales ranks. I don't really use any of them, however, simply because they change constantly (by the hour) and don't mean much unless you are trying to do a specific campaign. I look at it as similar to the whole pagerank hoopla: trying to get a higher pagerank is not a smart option. Rather, you time is better spent writing great content and building links, pagerank will follow. However, it is a good gauge to track progress.
