I've had an email from My Publisher:

Hi Imogen,

You are down to speak with Lloyd [Jones, another of their authors] at 11.30am on 26 May in Hay - how does that sound?

Woo hooo!!

They had said that there was a possibility of it happening for a while, but there hadnt been confirmation. Now there is!!!!!
(The literary festival at Hay-on-Wye (population: 1500, bookshops: 39) is big, it's sponspored by the Guardian newspaper & there will be poeple like Wole Soyinka & Doris Lessing reading there, for example.)

I will probably be reading in a cowshed while at the same time JK Rowling puts in an appearance at the Castle :D but I don't care. I'm going to be reading at Hay!!!

That rocks Imogen. :hooray:

People don't go to see JK Rowling to listen to her readings. No matter what stage you are on people are there to appreciate your stories. Go give them your best and let us all know how it went.

That's so awesome! And how jealous am I that you will be attending Hay! When I was doing all my searching for agents etc, I was still living in London and hoping some day maybe I would be an author at Hay. Now that things are happening I am now in Toronto, and can't attend. Poo. Still have an amazing time and tell us all about it when you get back!!
