View Full Version : I just sneezed...

04-16-2007, 05:23 PM
...what do you think that means?

04-16-2007, 05:24 PM
You've just had a detrimental effect on the stock markets of 2047 I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY.

04-16-2007, 05:24 PM
Nothing. But the fact that you started a thread to tell us about it means you're not working hard enough or drinking enough.

Someone is about to say "bless you"?

04-16-2007, 05:28 PM
I sneezed three times, so whatever effect you think this will have on the world, you better prepare in triplicate.

04-16-2007, 05:32 PM
I envision...

...a work-in-progress that isn't really living up to the name. :D

04-16-2007, 05:36 PM

Trouble is, you could be right. Is having only eight hours' sleep in the past three nights a worthy excuse?

But even then, why am I online rather than snoozing? :D

I'm trying to stay awake 'til at least 10pm so I sleep (IF I do!) at a normal time!

04-16-2007, 05:38 PM
...what do you think that means?
You have expelled your inner demons? Or maybe you're allergic to yourself.

04-16-2007, 05:39 PM
If staying up that late is what you've got to do to Achieve Four Thousand Posts, it's well worth it .

Well done, Starbellysneeches!

04-16-2007, 05:41 PM
I just lie in bed, tired, but not sleeping.

I like robeiae's theory. I'd love to be the only person on earth allergic to herself!

And does writing lots of 'peoms' rather than working on my novel justify my tortured awakedness? Maybe I should have sneezed all over the poetry forum instead...

04-16-2007, 05:44 PM
Tortured nakedness? What...oh. Never mind.

04-16-2007, 06:03 PM
I just ate a fairy cake.

04-16-2007, 06:14 PM
I just typed 'I just'

04-16-2007, 06:15 PM
I want to write a story about someone who is allergic to themself now. Thanks!

Oh, and bless you.

04-16-2007, 06:16 PM
That was my idea!!!

Well, robeiae's but that doesn't count. :)

04-16-2007, 06:38 PM
Well, in some parts around here (India), it's believed that you sneeze when someone who loves you is thinking of you.

04-16-2007, 06:39 PM
Oh. I like that. :) Does it matter how many times you sneeze? Do they love you more? Or do three people love me?! :)

04-16-2007, 07:29 PM
...every time you sneeze, an internet scammer gets the trots....

04-16-2007, 07:44 PM
Marginally less foxy.

04-16-2007, 08:05 PM
Maybe they're thinking about you really really hard. :D

04-16-2007, 08:49 PM
As long as you didn't lose brain fluid, you'll be okay.

04-16-2007, 09:21 PM
...what do you think that means?

I sneeze like clockwork every morning when I get up. I don't think it means anything.

Isn't the air that comes out of your nose when you sneeze travelling at 0ver 70 mph or something like that. I thought I heard that before.

Oh. Wait.

That's something else.

It means you want me. Or, that you need to dust your furniture.

lucky Sneezing first thing in the morning.
Sneezing to the right.

Sneezing on New Year's Eve.
Sneezing to the left.
Sneezing before going to bed.

Sneeze on Monday, sneeze for danger.
Sneeze on Tuesday, kiss a stranger.
Sneeze on Wednesday, get a letter.
Sneeze on Thursday, something better.
Sneeze on Friday, sneeze for woe.
Sneeze on Saturday, a journey to go.
Sneeze on Sunday, your safety seek,
For Satan will have you the rest of the week.[/I]
One a wish.
Two a kiss,
Three a disappointment.
Four a letter,
Five something better
Six or more and you've probably got a cold/an allergy/hay-fever.

...what do you think that means?

So that was you: the big storm in NE America, the Virginia Tech shooting.
