Between my wife and myself (actually mostly her :)), we have just about finished setting my books in order.

We're using a simple Excel spreadsheet with columns for Title, Author, Pubber, etc., and so far we have have catalogued a little over 1600 volumes.

A friend of mine suggested that we use ReaderWare (http://www.readerware.com/) to list and manage our library. Has anyone used this software? It looks fairly simple to use, and it's cheap too ;).

BTW, the centerpiece of our library is Easton Press' 100 Greatest Books (http://www.eastonpressbooks.com/leather/product.asp?code=0001&source=CU244) collection, given to me by my aunt. The books are gorgeously leather-bound, gilt-edged, printed on acid-free paper, with satin ribbons for markers. They even smell bookish :tongue
